Co tyczy się Polaków – do Oscara została nominowana Brzydka siostra (za najlepszy make-up i fryzury), która jest polską koprodukcją, oraz Polka – Małgorzata Turzańska za kostiumy do Hamneta! Pierwszy z tych filmów możecie zobaczyć na Prime Video (ale za dodatkową opłatą 🙂 ), drugi trafi do polskich kin już jutro!
Z zaskoczeń – ale tych mniej pozytywnych – w kategorii najlepszego filmu animowanego całkowicie pominięte zostały produkcje anime, które szturmem wzięły w tym roku światowe kina, a mianowicie Demon Slayer oraz filmowy Chainsaw Man. W kategorii Najlepszego Filmu najbardziej zdziwiły dwa tytuły – Bugonia i F1. Nie są to co prawda złe filmy, co to to nie, ale ich obecność była tak niespodziewana, że tłum, który zebrał się na ogłoszeniu nominacji wprost oniemiał i zapomniał nawet je oklaskać…
