Nowy program BackupHDDVD bezproblemowo radzi sobie z dekodowaniem zabezpieczenia AACS DRM. Dzięki temu bezproblemowo można skopiować film na dysk twardy i odtwarzać go bezpośrednio np. przez Cyberlink Power DVD Ultra.
