Co rozumiesz przez "prócz rekompresji ..." ? MKV to kodowanie h264 lub AVC-1. AVI to DivX. Czyli choćby dlatego nie da się bez rekompresji A utrata jakości to nie tylko sprawa rekompresji ale też rozdzielczości. MKV to 1920x1080 lub 1280x720, Divx to max 720x576.
